Mike Andersen

Mike Andersen is an FAA Designated Examiner. As such, he is authorized to give check rides for the various ratings and licenses. Mike is one of the examiners used by Knowlton Flight Instruction Services. In addition to giving check rides, Mike is the founder and guiding force of MAPFI -- the Minnesota Association of Professional Flight Instructors.

Mike has been a pilot and flight instructor for more than 30 years. He holds ATP, ASEL, AMEL and ASES ratings and is also type-rated in the Lear jet and the B-757 and B-767. Mike works at Northwest Airlines.
