Colleen Sampson, who earned her private pilot license in South Africa, came to the Twin Cities seven years ago. In the States she continued to pursue her love of flying and in quick succession earned her commercial, certified flight instructor and instrument flight instructor ratings.

Colleen is now working on her commercial multi-engine rating, flying a Piper Seneca I. Multi-engine training effectively utilizes a simulator for learning the basic skills, and Collen was photographed in a Frasca 142 simulator.
