I met Vic in 1998, when he asked me to do his multi-engine rating. Vic had just become the proud owner of N3088G, a pristine 1964 Piper Twin Comanche. He had not flown for over ten years, and his total time and experience was in a Cessna Skyhawk. Stepping up to a twin, particularly one as slippery as the Twin Comanche, was a big challenge, but he met it successfully. In the spring of 2002 Vic completed his instrument rating under me, in his Twin Comanche. He is now the owner of N46TB, a Piper Navajo.
